Last updated: October 5, 2026
This privacy policy explains how jamisonselby.com (the "Site") collects, uses and protects information about visitors. The Site is operated by Jamison Selby.
Information collected
Information you provide. If you use the contact form, the Site collects the information you enter, such as your name, email address, organization and message.
Information collected automatically. The Site is hosted on Squarespace, which automatically collects certain technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and the referring website. Squarespace uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site and to provide basic visitor analytics. You can learn more in Squarespace's privacy policy and cookie policy.
How information is used
Information you submit through the contact form is used only to read and respond to your inquiry. Technical and analytics information is used to operate the Site, keep it secure and understand how visitors use it.
Sharing of information
Personal information is not sold or shared for advertising purposes. Information may be processed by service providers that help run the Site, including Squarespace (website hosting and form processing) and the email provider used to receive and respond to messages. Information may also be disclosed if required by law.
Embedded content
Some pages on the Site include embedded videos from YouTube. When you view a page with an embedded video, YouTube (owned by Google) may set cookies and collect information about your visit, such as your IP address and viewing activity, under its own privacy policy. This happens even if you don't play the video. For more information, see Google's privacy policy.
Data retention
Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record-keeping. You may request that your message and contact details be deleted at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can contact the Site to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information you have submitted. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. You can also set your browser to block or delete cookies, though some parts of the Site may not work properly as a result.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. The Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals, as there is no common industry standard for doing so.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and personal information from children is not knowingly collected. If you believe a child has submitted information through the Site, please get in touch so it can be deleted.
Security
Reasonable measures are taken to protect information submitted through the Site. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
